The Docent Volunteer program is still new to the Alameda Park Zoo and continues to change and grow. Its primary goals are to prepare persons to be knowledgeable enough to educate the public about our animal collections, about the value of Zoos, and about the role of Zoos in wildlife conservation.
If you are interested in becoming a Zoo Docent Volunteer, please contact the Education Coordinator, Bill Hoff! Email Bill or fill out the application below!
We are also looking for volunteers to fill other roles at the zoo. If you are interested in supporting our zoo with your talents, please fill out the volunteer interest survey today!
